I am an educational and organizational consultant who draws from more than 20 years of leadership experience in urban school systems, specifically as a teacher, school and district leader, and research-practice partner. I’m deeply passionate about engagement strategy and coherent, systemic innovation as a means for sustainable, scalable impact.

In my consultancy work, I take a systems-oriented approach to improvement and change. Throughout my career, I’ve consistently pursued coherence in systems, policies, and practices to ensure organizations resonate deeply with those they serve. This journey has honed a unique ability to center learner perspective, particularly youth, as a central driver of improvement.

A lifelong Chicagoan, I recently took a leap and moved to the Black Hills of South Dakota with my husband, John, and our dog, Jim. While I miss the city I love, I’m embracing the tranquility and beauty of my new surroundings. And as a biology buff, I find joy in exploring the diverse ecology of the mountains.
